Have you guys read this yet? I see many people say they liked Roscoe's personally in the 2nd book more than here, while some say that Jeremy was better in book 1 and became and bit whiny and clingy in book 2. Overall, I hope the characters won't become dull as the series progress, because I think this has the potential to be something to look forward to. Also, I expected a bit more angst because of the blurb. This book has potential, but I would just like to point out that not every "alone time" with your lover means that all you do is sex. If not, then the author fooled me but did a great job of at least giving a sneak peek of their characteristics. And ngl, I think Blake and Luke have a secret relationship, which actually got me interested in what their story is. The side characters were alright, but you could definitely tell the author's focus on giving Jeremy some character depth. I like how Maddox is portrayed as someone who speaks his mind tho, and that they prioritized their mental health, but I guess that's to be expected since that's literally what the blurb implied. wrong since I thought this was a slow-burn but it turned out to be something like witnessing a new relationship, with one of them basically trying to reveal themselves and the other doing the best he can to not get found out and fired. I have to say that I skipped every single sex scene of theirs because I just don't feel like they're necessary to the plot and I can't really feel the emotions. HOWEVER, it was questionable how Roscoe resisted his romantic feelings towards Maddox and then suddenly started a romance with him at just 33%. This is overall a great read since the M/M genre hasn't been exciting me lately, so this was a breath of fresh air.

This is purely my opinion and I think I forgot to mention some things but this is all I can remember rn:
